Well per the weather forecast the UK is finally getting some spring like warmer weather! Temperatures are forecast to be in the early 20s this week which for us UK residents has not been seen for a good number of months now!
While this may mean that more time is being spent in the garden or down at the local public house that doesn`t mean that your fireplace should suffor!
It`s also the time of year that most DIy jobs are done in and around the house, and with our wall mounted electric fire range you can either have a simple hang on the wall electric fire which fits on a simple bracket and hangs on the wall or a fully inset, purpose built centerpiece with one of our large inset truflame wall mounted electric fires.
The two types are discussed below:
The above are examples of two wall mounted electric fires which our customers have sent us. These are simply mounted via the bracket which comes in the box, the screws, raw plugs and fitting instructions are also included.
All that is required is the bracket has the holes drilled for it when marked out where you want the fire to be placed. The raw plugs are then inserted into the holes and the bracket screwed to the wall.
Then, the wall mounted electric fire is lifted and hung on the bracket via the lip on the back of the fireplace. If you want, there is also a retaining bracket which can be fitted to the bottom of the fire to make it extra secure so it can not be pushed from the bottom and remove from the top bracket.
A very simple process which can transform any room, quickly and cost effectively.

The above are the fitment dimensions for the BG50 inset wall mounted electric fire.
This fire can be hung via the bracket provided in the same way as described above but you can also inset this into a cavity space or custom made panel.
A lot of customers want a flush fitted wall mounted electric fire and more commonly now are undertaking the task of creating with a hole in an existing cavity space stud wall or creating beautiful frames for the fireplace to be mounted in.
These frames are commonly made from MDF and are not too difficult to construct or indeed finish to a high standard, customers are adding a TV to the top section of the frame and flush mounting this, thus hiding the wires etc and underneath are creating the hole and space for a wall mounted electric fire to be inset into.
The effect is stunning and we are waiting for some images from our customers of their finished projects to create an ongoing customer gallery for the wall mounted electric fires.
So even though it`s warmer we will still all need the fireplaces switched on at night becuase the UK doesn`t have warm evenings unitl the summer (if we are lucky!) so if you have a tired, old or dated fireplace then upgrade to a contemporary LED TruFlame wall monuted or inset electric fire today!
